3/16/2020 Camp Grady Spruce Update

Dear CGS Camper Parents,

In an effort to keep everyone up-to-date, here is the latest in regard to Camp Grady Spruce.

We have been able to reschedule Camp Grady Spruce from March 16-20 to May 26-28. This will be a 3 day camp versus our traditional 5 day. With the shorter time frame, the cost is reduced and the difference in price will be $45. If you want your child to attend May 26-28 you will receive a $45 refund, if all of your students' camp tuition was paid out of pocket. If your student received credit from a Camp Fund Raiser, a scholarship, or were sponsored by someone, we will have to adjust those totals and refund credit based on each individual basis. However, if you do not want your student to attend Camp Grady Spruce in May we will refund the total amount that you paid out of pocket. It will take us a few days to get all the accounting paperwork in order, and checks issued for your refund. Checks will be mailed, so please be sure that your correct address is in place in Skyward. Please be patient as we work through this process, and know that we are working diligently to get it taken care of in a timely matter.

If you still want your student to attend camp in May there is nothing further you need to do as far as paperwork. Mrs. Spoon is currently working out all the details and working on new schedules, and will keep us up-to-date as we work through this process.

At this point, if you want to cancel your student’s attendance at camp (or attendance as a cabin leader) for the May camp date, will you please contact Mrs. Lovern (preferably by email) so that we can begin the process of issuing refunds and have an accurate count for camp. As stated above, if you want your child to attend camp in May, you need not do anything.

Mrs. Lovern’s contact information is:

cell phone- (940) 859-4461

Thank you,
Debbie Spoon
