Welcome to Travis Elementary!
My name is Jolene Williams and I am excited to be working with the students, parents and staff at Travis Elementary.

About Me
I am beginning my 23rd year in education and my 17th year as an elementary counselor. As a counselor, I hope to assist our students in becoming successful in academic and social settings. During the year, I provide guidance lessons to all of the fourth grade classes and half of the fifth grade classes. Our lessons cover a variety of topics including: manners, the dangers of alcohol and drugs, what it means to be a good friend, importance of sportsmanship, and the Be Cool Curriculum. This curriculum helps students learn how to cope with difficult situations like criticism, teasing, bullying and anger (own and others). In addition, I am available to parents and teachers to address any concerns or needs.
Please contact me if you have questions.
