Below is the list of the Battle of the Book titles for the 2023-2024 year. There are ten books total, half being picture/nonfiction books and the other half being chapter books. 

 

Students who want to try out for a Battle team will take a written exam prior to Winter Break. The top performing students will be assigned to a team. There are five students on a team, and Travis can have 2-4 teams each year. Teams will begin to meet in the spring semester to practice and prepare for the day of competition, which is held later in the school year. 

 

The best way to get involved is to simply start reading the books on the list as soon as possible. Students will get reminders and additional information when the new school year begins.
